I Love The Muppets!!!! If I’m being honest, The Muppet Movie is probably my very favorite film. Usually I say Charade is my favorite and though I do love that mystery classic, if I had only one film to watch for all eternity I’d most likely choose The Muppet Movie or The Mummy, but, I digress. The point is The Muppets are very important to me, as is this new Muppet film, which is aptly titled The Muppets. But, I’m not the least bit concerned because the trailers that have been released are perfect! Adding to my ease regarding the project is the fact my fellow Muppets lover and How I Met Your Mother star Jason Segal is not only lead in the film, but, he wrote and is producing the project. I heard him interviewed early on in the process and his high level of respect and adoration for The Muppets is very apparent. James Bobin from Flight of The Conchords is helming the project and there’s a TON of majorly creative and big name stars working on the film which boils down this should be excellent. I feel fairly confident that The Muppets is going to be great especially after viewing the hilarious Green Lantern trailer - check it out and let me know what y’all think.
